I met Robert Englund way back when at a sci fi convention in NYC.  And again on Jan. 5, 2002 in Brooklyn at the Fangoria Horror Convention. See more Fango Con pics below.

Scroll down.  You had to have a VOUCHER (which I think was $30) to get Englund's autograph (which was then another $25) so they were all sold out in advance. Didn't matter to me since I already have it, but it turns out, without the voucher, you couldn't even talk to him.  So, I pulled up a chair and waited for 4 hours outside the room until he took a lunch break.  I missed him on his way out (someone was talking to me) so I wanted another hour and when he came back, the lady standing next to me screamed to him "Hey!" so he turned around, but I was closer so he thought I said it, and he started doing scary Freddy Kruger hands and flicking his tongue in and out --- until he saw my "V" shirt. Then he stopped and said: "V!  What a cool Tshirt!"  The boy next to me, Danny, got it all  recorded on DVD, hehehe.
